Today, we’re going to be taking a look at how to make a strawberry cake with pudding mix. I’ve seen so many recipes that say that pudding mix is a great addition to a cake mix, so I had to try it for myself. And they were definitely right! Not only does it bring additional flavor to the cake, but it also makes it moist and changes the texture slightly (if you don’t like a denser sponge, this may not be the recipe for you). But how do you go about making a strawberry cake with pudding mix? Let’s take a closer look.

What is Strawberry Cake with Pudding Mix?

Strawberry cake with pudding mix is exactly as it sounds. A strawberry sponge cake that has pudding mix incorporated into the batter before it’s baked. This is added for a number of reasons, including changes in texture, moistness, and flavoring. While the change when using pudding mix in the batter is subtle, it’s absolutely delicious and I’d highly recommend it.
