  • 1 pound cream cheese, room temperature
  • 4 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature (1 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Best Red Velvet Cake Recipe. Step by Step Instructions

Step One: Preheat Oven and Grease Cake Pans

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease all three of the pans.
