Gather all the ingredients you need and preheat your oven to 350F. Next, prepare two cake pans by greasing and flouring them. Grab a bowl and add all of the cake ingredients. Mix for a few minutes until the ingredients are combined and the batter is as smooth as can be.

Step 2: Bake the Cake

Pour even amounts of batter into your two pans and place in your preheated oven for around 35-40 minutes. You can test when the cake is done by placing a toothpick into the center of the cake. If it comes out clean, your cake is ready. Remove and leave to cool.
