How to Make Jello Poke Cake
Step 1
Prepare the cake batter according to the directions on the package. Alternatively, you can use your own white sponge recipe. We will need the amount of 2 layers.
Step 2
Bake it using a 13 by 9-inch pan and let it cool for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Poke the sponge with a fork every ½ inch. These little holes will let the gelatin seep through to color and flavor our cake.

Notes
One of the best things about this recipe is how much you can customize it. You can use whatever gelatin flavor you want! You can even use different colors and make a rainbow!
It is best to use white sponge, as it will show off the colors more, but you can use yellow sponge if that is what you prefer.
Another amazing touch would be to add sprinkles on top of the frosting if it is for a birthday party. Adding fruit that corresponds to the gelatin flavor would also be amazing!
