To lengthen the use of your left-over frosting, ensure to store it in an airtight container in a cool location. This particular frosting does not need to be stored in the fridge; however, you may store it in the fridge for up to two weeks if you want to.

Before you frost, ensure you let your baked goods cool down for at least fifteen minutes. If you are frosting a cake, it is often easiest to use an offset spatula. For frosting cupcakes and making designs, piping bags and tips are often used to achieve desired shapes.

If you are planning to decorate an intricate design or write something, you can use a toothpick to sketch your design in the base layer of frosting before piping it on. If you don’t like how the design looks from the toothpick sketch, you can simply smooth it out and try again.
