You should have two 9×13 cakes. With the first cake, cut it in half and attach it to a cake board. With this cake and the full cake, cover entirely in chocolate buttercream and freeze. You should freeze the cake until it’s frozen on the cake board.

Step 2: Work on Fondant
Make a rectangle out of fondant; you’ll be able to do this with a rolling pin. Place the frozen cake directly onto the fondant and cut away any excess fondant. Once you’ve perfected the edges, repeat this process until both pieces of cake are covered.
