Is Sam’s Club Buttercream Gluten-Free?
Yes, Sam’s Club buttercream is gluten-free. It does not contain wheat, rye, barley, or triticale. The proteins found in wheat, rye, barley, or triticale are what make gluten in foods.
It contains powdered sugar, palm oil, high oleic sunflower and canola oil, water, hydrogenated cottonseed oil, and corn syrup. It also contains 2% or less of artificial flavor, blue 1, citric acid, glycerin, guar gum, high fructose, corn syrup, mono, and diglycerides potassium. Since the recipe may vary, it is always best to check with the store to be certain that it does not indeed contain any gluten.
People who have Celiac Disease are not able to eat gluten. It is important to always double-check the ingredients to be certain that there are no ingredients that contain gluten.
Is Sam’s Club Buttercream Vegan?
Sam’s Club buttercream is vegan as it does not contain butter or milk. Traditional buttercream contains butter. However, Sam’s Club’s buttercream contains palm oil and oil, high oleic sunflower and/or canola oil, water, hydrogenated cottonseed oil, and corn syrup, instead of butter.

However, most store-bought frostings do not use butter and milk instead, they use oil. How Long Does Sam’s Club Buttercream Last?

When storing at room temperature, be sure to store it in a location that is cool, dry, and away from sunlight. If you live in a warm humid area, it is best to store your frosting in the fridge or freezer.
