1 cup of vegetable shortening; as an alternative, you can use vegan butter if desired, 2 to 4 tbsp of dairy-free milk you can also use coconut cream (vegan sour cream, vegan yogurt, or water), 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • Afterward, beat all the ingredients inside the large bowl using an electric mixer until well combined. Likewise, it would be best to mix until the mixture becomes smooth and fluffy.

1/4 tsp of coarse salt, 4 to 5 cups of powdered sugar
  • Once the frosting is ready, fold in your rainbow sprinkles. After that, use the simple no milk frosting to frost your cakes and cupcakes. As always, make sure to enjoy it!
    4 tbsp of rainbow sprinkles

Notes

You may use dairy-free milk, sour cream, or yogurt for the liquid. However, the amount of the liquid will vary depending on the choice of liquid and your desired consistency.
Also, if your no milk frosting is too thin for your liking, you can add more powdered sugar. Do so till you can achieve the desired consistency of your frosting. Plus, you can refrigerate the frosting until the fats in your frosting solidify; however, it will only become a temporary solution.
