Before anything else, make sure to preheat your conventional oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Then, be sure to sift your two tablespoons of sugar and one cup of cake flour in a big mixing bowl. After that, make sure to set it aside. Next, ensure to beat the cream of tartar, salt, and egg whites till it develops soft peaks.
1 cup of cake flour, 1/4 tsp of salt, 3/4 cups of white sugar (divided), 1 1/5 tsp of cream of tartar, 1 and 1/2 cups of egg whites about 12 eggs
Afterward, be sure to add the remaining sugar gradually. Next, make sure to beat on high till stiff peaks develop. Then, ensure to fold the flour mixture into your egg whites. With this, you must fold in the mixing bowl's bottom and sides entirely.
3/4 cups of white sugar (divided)
Next, ensure to spoon batter into your ungreased tube pan. After that, make sure to bake for thirty to thirty-five minutes. Likewise, you can bake till the top springs back when you touch it lightly with your fingers.
Then, make sure to cool upside down on a cooling wire rack; be sure to do so for approximately an hour. In addition to that, please do this before removing it from your pan. Also, you can run a knife to remove your cake. With this, be sure to run it around your tube pan's rim. Afterward, invert onto your cooling wire rack to cool entirely.
After that, cut in half and layer with half of your whipped cream, including your sliced strawberries. Then, make sure to top with half of the strawberries and whipped cream. Finally, make sure to cut, serve and, as always, enjoy with loved ones!
One tube of frozen whip cream (thawed), 1 pint of strawberries (sliced)
