How to Make Homemade Cool Whip
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
- 2 1/4 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp gelatin
Instructions
- Grab a saucepan and add both the gelatin and water. Leave for a few minutes and then heat on a medium heat until the two ingredients are completely combined. Remove from heat and leave to cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, add the cream and beat for a few minutes until soft peaks start to form. At this point gradually add the confectioners' sugar and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Finally, add the gelatin from the saucepan and mix until you have stiffer peaks. Use as needed.
