Grab a bowl and add the shortening, vanilla, butter flavoring and almond flavoring. Cream them together until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add the confectioners' sugar, as well as the cream. Start by mixing slowly, and then increase the speed as you go. Keep mixing for around 8 minutes until your buttercream is light and fluffy. If you notice any bubbles in frosting, add a teaspoon of milk to help.
Add the salt and give one final mix. Your frosting is ready to use!
