Glaze Frosting For Cookies Recipe

Nothing beats a glaze frosting for cookies, a classic and sweet perfect finishing touch to entice the feasting eyes of friends and family. I guarantee you that this recipe is the best.

Let’s get started!

01 2 cups of confectioner’s sugar, sifted

02 2 tbsp of light corn syrup

03 1 1/2 tbsp of milk

04 1 tbsp of vanilla extract

05 Gel food coloring

In a mixing bowl, whisk in the confectioner’s sugar, corn syrup, and milk until well incorporated. The consistency should be thick but spreadable.

Next, add on the vanilla and stir until smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding milk if the glaze is too thick. Likewise, add the confectioner’s sugar if the texture is too wet.

Then, add the gel food coloring of choice in a separate bowl if you use multiple colors. Make sure to allow the glaze to settle on the cookie for at least a minute. Doing this achieves a glossy effect.

Afterward, transfer to a piping bag with the tip of choice.
