Amazing Copycat Sam’s Club Buttercream Frosting Recipe
Sam’s Club is known for its delicious buttercream frosting. Its whipped texture makes it a popular choice amongst many dessert lovers. Luckily, you can make your own version of Sam’s Club buttercream frosting at home.
Servings: 8 cupcakes
- 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cold milk
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup regular white Crisco
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Step 1: Mix together Flour and Milk

Add the cooled flour and milk mixture to the creamed butter, sugar and Crisco. Using an electric mixer, beat together the ingredients on high power. Beat until the mixture reaches the consistency of whipped cream.
Step 5: Adding the Vanilla
Add the vanilla to the mixture and mix until combined.
The leftover frosting should be stored in the refrigerator in order to keep it fresh. This frosting comes out white, so food coloring may be added to reach the desired color.
When making this frosting, it is important to not over mix the frosting, as it will lose its whipped consistency. Before you frost your baked goods, make sure they have cooled for at least 15 minutes to make sure your frosting doesn’t melt.
If you are planning to use a piping bag and tips; star, plain and leaf tips are the easiest to use. If you plan to use a piping bag for frosting a cake, look for a piping bag that is at least 16 inches.
