Whipped Peanut Butter Frosting

Who doesn't want a smooth and light whipped peanut butter frosting? Not only that but also blended and sweetened with peanut butter for a naturally sweet and salty combination. For the most part, it is ideal for dark chocolate cupcakes. In addition to that, this particular frosting will not mess up its shape. And because of that, it is perfect for piping.

  • One tablespoon of creamy peanut butter
  • Two tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • One cup of heavy cream

Instructions 

  • Before anything else, make sure to put a glass or metal mixing bowl, including your beaters, in the freezer for approximately fifteen minutes. Afterward, be sure to remove them from the freezer. Then, add your peanut butter, heavy cream, and powdered sugar.

  • Next, make sure to beat using a hand or stand mixer for about four to seven minutes. Likewise, you can do so till stiff peaks develop; bear in mind that it should be scoopable. Besides that, it can hold its shape.
  • After that, you may use whipped peanut butter frosting on your baked desserts such as pies, cupcakes, and cakes. In addition to that, you can add it to your beverages. Lastly, please note to put the leftovers in a clean and sealed container; and be sure to store them in your refrigerator. Remember, it typically lasts for a day.

Notes

You can chill your beaters and metal mixing bowl in the freezer for about fifteen minutes; keep in mind that it is more likely to produce whipped cream with stiffer peaks by doing so in advance.
