  • One pack and a teaspoon of gelatin, this is to create a more chewy gummy bear

Instructions

  • Before anything else, pour water into your small saucepan. Then, sprinkle your gelatin and Jello over your water. Afterward, allow the gelatin and water to sit for about five minutes to let it bloom.

  • Once the gelatin blooms, place your small saucepan over the stove on medium heat. Then, stir the mixture slowly and constantly. By doing so, it allows the heat to dissolve the sugar crystals.
  • When the gelatin mixture dissolves, remove your saucepan from the heat. After that, allow it to cool for a bit. Then, prepare your gummy bear mold. Next, pour your gelatin mixture into the giant gummy bear mold. Then, allow it to cool for about forty minutes. Likewise, you can allow it to cool completely at room temperature.
  • If you like to speed up the cooling process, you may cool it for fifteen minutes at room temperature. Then, transfer it to the refrigerator and allow it to cool there for about twenty-five minutes.
  • Once your giant gummy bear cools entirely, remove your giant gummy bear from the mold. And as usual, enjoy it with your loved ones!

Notes

For a more chewy texture, utilize more gelatin for your gummy bear.
In addition to that, avoid skipping the blooming process of your gelatin. Keep in mind that blooming can take about five minutes.
