  • 4 cups of freshly sliced strawberries, about 1 to 1 1/2 quarts
  • One pack of powdered strawberry flavored gelatin, about 3 ounces each pack
  • Two packs of instant vanilla pudding, about 3.4 ounces each pack
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • One box of vanilla wafers, about 11 ounces
  • One container of non-dairy whipped topping, about 8 ounces. You can use homemade whipped cream if you like, about 3 cups

Instructions

  • Place the fresh sliced strawberries inside a saucepan. Then, sprinkle them with your powdered strawberry-flavored gelatin. Afterward, gently stir to coat your strawberries evenly. After that, heat your saucepan over medium-low heat until the powdered gelatin dissolves. Do not forget to remove the saucepan from the heat. And set it aside.

  • Then, prepare a mixing bowl. After that, beat your milk, sour cream, and dry instant vanilla pudding together using an electric mixer until well combined. Afterward, fold in half of your whipped topping, about 4 ounces, using a rubber spatula.

  • Next, take your glass bowl. And layer it with vanilla wafers. Afterward, add half of the pudding mixture to the vanilla wafer. After that, spread evenly using a rubber spatula. Then, add half of your strawberry mixture. Also, make sure to even it out. Remember, repeat making the layers. Once done making the layers top it with your remaining whipped topping. And crumble about four to five vanilla wafers. Then, place it on top of your whipped topping.
    One container of non-dairy whipped topping, about 8 ounces. You can use homemade whipped cream if you like, about 3 cups
  • Afterward, cover and chill your glass bowl inside the refrigerator until it sets. Also, keep in mind that chilling overnight will produce better results. When you are about to serve, you can garnish it with strawberries if desired. As always, serve and enjoy!
