Instructions

  • Chop Pecans and Prepare Baking Pan - Chop your pecans into fine pieces. Prepare the baking pan by greasing it with cooking spray.
  • Add Pecans, Rolls and Pudding to Pan - Add the chopped pecans and frozen dinner rolls to the pan. Arrange the rolls so they are evenly spaced. Sprinkle the pudding atop the rolls.
  • Melt the Butter - In a medium saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon. Next, pour the butter mixture over the rolls.
  • Cover the Rolls - Cover the rolls with a dish towel or plastic wrap. Allow them to rise for eight hours or overnight at room temperature.
  • Cut the Rolls and Preheat Oven - After the rolls have risen, use scissors to cut them. Cut them into halves or thirds. This will allow for smaller pieces and easy serving.
  • After cutting the rolls, allow them to rest again. This second rest will be only 15-30 minutes. During the rise, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Bake the Rolls - Bake the rolls for 30 minutes. Once done, take the pan out of the oven and flip it onto a plate. Allow the rolls to cool for 10 minutes before serving them warm.

Notes

For the best results, warm the leftover rolls up in the microwave for 15-30 seconds. You can also place them in the oven for five minutes at 300 degrees Fahrenheit to warm them back up.
