Instructions

For the Cake

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Then, grease the baking pan. Set aside.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, whisk the eggs, honey, and melted coconut oil until blended.
  • After mixing the wet ingredients, add in the coconut flour and stir until blended smoothly. Fold in peach and mangoes.
  • Grab the prepared baking pan and pour in the batter. Bake for 30 minutes, and once done, let it cool for 10 minutes. Rotate the cake into a cooling rack to cool completely.

For the Frosting

  • In a mixing bowl, add yogurt and honey, whip until fluffy.
  • Frost your cake and design it with fruits, celebrate your dog, and enjoy it!

Notes

When slicing the peaches, it is best to cut around the pit and remove it. Thickened yogurt adds more volume when whipped, so it is better to refrigerate it first. Though it is still an option to buy commercial dog cake mixes, it is best that you make the dog cake yourself since you can monitor how fresh and healthy the ingredients are. And best of all, you get to make it for your dog on his or her birthday, which makes it many times better.
