But it tastes a lot more delicious in cake mix than you might think! In fact, I would say that mayonnaise is a key ingredient to incredibly moist, flavorful cake. But how much do you use?   • Prepare - Gather all of the ingredients you need and preheat your oven to 350F. You'll also need to grease and lightly flour the cake pan of your choice.
  • Make the Batter - Add the flour, sugar, baking soda, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and mayonnaise to a bowl. Mix well until the batter is smooth and the ingredients are well combined.
  • Bake the Cake - Pour the batter into your prepared pan. Now place the pan into the center of your preheated oven for around 25-30 minutes. You can test whether your cake is baked by placing a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, your cake is ready. Remove from oven and leave to cool completely. Once cool, you can frost (if wanted) and slice, serve and enjoy!
