      • Prepare - Preheat your oven to 350F and prepare two cake pans by greasing and lining them.

Now pour your batter into your prepared pans and place it into the center of your oven for around 35-40 minutes. You can test whether your cakes are ready by inserting a toothpick into the center of your cake - it should come out clean. Remove from oven and leave to cool.
      • Make the Frosting - Choco Mocha Cake Recipe - Add the sugar, cream, and sauce to a bowl and mix until you reach soft peaks. Now add the cocoa powder and keep mixing until you reach stiff peaks.
      • Assemble - Once the cakes are cool, add frosting to the top of one layer and press the other layer on top. Add a thin layer of frosting all over your cake and place it in the fridge for 15-20 minutes. Now add the rest of your frosting to a piping bag and decorate as you wish. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

      • Make the Batter - Add the sugar, flour, baking powder, soda, cocoa, and salt to a bowl and mix well. Gradually add the softened butter and once again, mix well. In another bowl, add the oil, eggs, and milk and whisk until combined. Gradually add the egg mixture to your first bowl of ingredients and mix gently as you go. • Bake the Cake - Choco Mocha Cake Recipe - Pour batter into your pans and sprinkle around half of your toffee pieces and pecans on top. Place in the center of your preheated oven for around 30 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean. Remove from oven and leave to cool.
      • Make the Frosting - Add around 1/4 cup of water to a small amount of instant coffee; espresso coffee is the best choice here. Mix well and leave to one side to cool. In a bowl, add the butter and beat until smooth and fluffy. Once smooth, add the vanilla extract, salt, and cocoa powder. Mix well. Now add around half of the sugar and around half of your cooled coffee. Mix well until the sugar is completely combined. Once combined, add the rest of the coffee, as well as the rest of the sugar. Mix well.
      • Decorate - Once your cakes are cooled, add frosting to each layer, before placing the next layer on top. Frost the sides of your cake, as well as the top. This can be done in any way that you wish, it doesn't have to be perfect. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
