Sensational Finger Jello Without Knox

Equipment

  • Cooking spray
  • Chopping board

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups boiling water, divided
  • 4 packages (3 ounces each) Jell-O Lime, divided (or your flavor of choice)
  • 1 can (5 ounces) evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup multi-colored sprinkles (optional)

Instructions 

  • Boil water and add jello.
    Boil your water in a small saucepan and then add 1 1/3 cups of water to a medium mixing bowl. Then, add two packs of your Jell-O to a medium bowl with the water and stir for two minutes, until completely dissolved.
    2 cups boiling water, divided, 4 packages (3 ounces each) Jell-O Lime, divided (or your flavor of choice)
  • Refrigerate jello.
    Spray an 8-inch square pan with cooking spray and pour in your Jello mixture. Then, place it in the fridge for 25-30 minutes, until the jello is set but not firm.
  • Add remaining water and jello.
    In a medium mixing bowl, add your remaining boiling water with the rest of your jello packages. Mix the water and Jell-O packets together with the hot water for two minutes, until they are completely dissolved.

  • Add evaporated milk.
    Add the evaporated milk to the jello mixture and refrigerate for 15 minutes, or until the mixture is slightly thickened.

  • Combine the two jello mixtures.
    Pour the jello mixture with evaporated milk on top of the first jello mixture.
  • Return to fridge.
    Return your jello to the fridge and refrigerate for four hours or until set firm.
  • Slice the jello.
    Once the jello is firm, remove it from the fridge and turn it out onto a cutting board. If desired, you may garnish it with multi-color or seasonal sprinkles.
    Using a sharp knife, cut the jello into four rows and then cut each row into seven alternating triangles. You can also cut the jello into any desired shape you would like.
