Amazing 2 Tiered Coconut-Strawberry Cake

Today I am going to show you how to make a 2 tiered cake with buttercream icing. Get ready, cause it is going to be a doozy! You will need a good 4 hours to make this cake.

INGREDIENTS

01 6 large eggs at room temperature

02 3 cups of granulated sugar

03 4 ½ cups of all-purpose flour

04 6 teaspoons of baking powder

05 3 teaspoons of salt

06 3 sticks of unsalted butter

PREHEAT THE OVEN

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Afterward, butter and lightly flour the pans you will be using. 

MIX EGGS AND SUGAR

Grab the eggs and place them in the stand mixer’s bowl. Gradually add the granulated sugar while mixing on high. You should mix for at least 5 minutes

MELT BUTTER

Melt the butter in the microwave in 20-second intervals. Let sit for 5 minutes, add the coconut milk and the extracts. Mix well.

ADD TO EGGS AND SUGAR MIXTURE

Add this mixture to the eggs and sugar. Beat for 2 minutes on high speed or until well combined.
