Strawberry Shortcake Shake

You will need

3 scoops strawberry ice cream
1/3 cup whole milk
4 fresh strawberries, hulled
2 shortbread cookies, crushed
Whipped cream

Make it

Blend the ice cream, milk and fresh berries until just smooth.
Fold in half the crushed shortbread by hand, not in the blender.
Pour into a chilled glass.
Top with whipped cream and the rest of the shortbread.

Make it grown-up

Add 1 oz vanilla vodka. Strawberry liqueur oversweetens it. Vanilla keeps the fruit forward.
