Strawberries and Cream White Hot Chocolate

Pale pink and entirely shameless.

You will need

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2.5 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tbsp strawberry preserves
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • Freeze dried strawberries

Make it

  1. Warm the milk and melt the white chocolate in slowly over low heat.
  2. Whisk in the strawberry preserves until the milk turns pale pink.
  3. Add the vanilla.
  4. Top with whipped cream and crushed freeze dried strawberries.
Make it grown-up

Add 1 oz vanilla vodka. Strawberry liqueur pushes it over into candy. Vanilla keeps the fruit readable.
