Pistachio White Chocolate Cocoa

Pale green, faintly salty, quietly expensive tasting.

You will need

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tbsp pistachio cream or paste
  • Pinch salt
  • Crushed pistachios

Make it

  1. Warm the milk and melt the white chocolate in slowly.
  2. Whisk in the pistachio paste until it fully combines.
  3. Add a pinch of salt. Without it this tastes flat and only sweet.
  4. Top with whipped cream and crushed pistachios.
Make it grown-up

Add 1 oz amaretto. Amaretto and pistachio sit in the same family without competing.
