Pale pink, tart underneath, better than it sounds.
You will need
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 oz white chocolate, chopped
- 2 tbsp cranberry sauce or preserves
- 1/4 tsp orange zest
- Dried cranberries
Make it
- Warm the milk and melt the white chocolate in slowly over low heat.
- Whisk in the cranberry until the milk turns pale pink.
- Add the orange zest. Cranberry without orange tastes unfinished.
- Strain if you want it smooth, then top with whipped cream and dried cranberries.
Make it grown-up
Add 1 oz orange liqueur. Orange liqueur sharpens the cranberry instead of burying it in more sugar.
