Cardamom Rose Steamer

The most grown-up thing on the menu.

You will need

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 cardamom pods, crushed
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Dried rose petals

Make it

  1. Warm the milk with the crushed cardamom for 5 minutes on low, then strain.
  2. Whisk in the honey while it is still hot.
  3. Add the rose water a quarter teaspoon at a time. It goes from floral to soap very fast.
  4. Froth and top with a few dried rose petals.
Make it grown-up

Add 1 oz elderflower liqueur. Elderflower sits alongside rose rather than fighting it.
