Cake Batter Steamer

You will need

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp dry yellow cake mix
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • Rainbow sprinkles

Make it

  1. Whisk the dry cake mix into the cold milk until there are no lumps. Cold first, always.
  2. Heat gently to steaming, whisking constantly so it does not catch on the bottom.
  3. Stir in the sugar and almond extract.
  4. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles.
Make it grown-up

Add 1 oz vanilla vodka. Vanilla keeps it clean. Cake flavored vodka doubles up and tastes synthetic.
