Birthday Cake Milkshake

The one that gets photographed before anyone drinks it.

You will need

  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp dry funfetti cake mix
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • Rainbow sprinkles
  • Frosting for the rim

Make it

  1. Rim the glass with frosting and roll it in sprinkles. Chill 5 minutes.
  2. Blend the ice cream, milk, dry cake mix and almond extract until thick.
  3. The dry cake mix is what makes it taste like batter. Do not skip it.
  4. Pour, top with whipped cream and bury it in sprinkles.
Make it grown-up

Add 1 oz vanilla vodka. Keeps the flavor clean. Cake vodka works but reads artificial.
