Banana Pudding Shake

The church potluck dessert, upgraded.

You will need

  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1 ripe banana, frozen
  • 4 vanilla wafers, crushed
  • Whipped cream

Make it

  1. Freeze the banana first. A fresh one makes this thin and oversweet instead of thick and creamy.
  2. Blend the ice cream, milk and frozen banana.
  3. Fold in half the crushed wafers by hand, not in the blender.
  4. Top with whipped cream and the rest of the wafers.
Make it grown-up

Add 1 oz bourbon. Banana and bourbon is a classic. Rum works too if you want it sweeter.
